Selling Real Estate in Carbon County

I've been selling real estate in Carbon County for a few years. I took my classes and got my license in 1997, worked part time for Gene Durigan Real Estate until 2000 and decided to put my license in escrow.  It was hard having 2 children, another full time job and trying to establish relationships with clients. So 5 years later, in 2005 I renewed my license. Well now my boys were 18 and 12 so that was much easier. I still had another job - but only part time so that made it easier, and the real estate market was booming; again - easier.  But really, it was still hard. So finally, in 2007 I took the leap and came full time to real estate at Gene Durigan Real Estate.

Now,part of my time is spent as the assistant to the Broker, Gail A. Christman. And a lot of time is spent cultivating relationships with clients, studying the local market, networking, showing properties, completing paperwork, and so much more.  My office is in Lehighton but Gene Durigan Real Estate also has office in Jim Thorpe and Tamaqua. I consider my area to be all of Carbon County and parts of Schuylkill, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.  I love the area I live and work in and I get excited everytime I get the chance to introduce it to someone new.
